Have you ever had a room or several rooms that need to be repaired but you are unable to afford the cost of it to be done?  There are many programs on the tele that are dedicated to this subject.  This of course enables lowly paid contractors to fix a mug for the camera while they fix odds and ends around a persons home so that it looks like a place someone can admit to residing.  These kinds of jobs are considered manual labor in that the use of physical strength and endurance is required because you either have to plaster and probably sand, paint, wallpaper, hammer and drill until almost perfection.  Just think of driving a car up or down an unpaved road each day. Would you want people to see your walls in that condition?
It would make an interesting conversation piece as you discuss the 3D aspect of your posters that are hung on them.

Initially when people start out to get things of this magnitude done they have a budget to work with and a contractor or so of mention to do the job.  As people procrastinate the money is spent on long lost visits to people they haven't seen since the clothes they wore while visiting are still in their closet and have come back into style. The only difference between then and now is that ones body is not that of a kiddie anymore and no matter how much you think you can style those wears again; the attributes of old age is in the way of you being able to actually fulfill that mission.  With the money now spent, the contractors you were interested in doing the job for you ain't workinf for free so they found work from people who were serious about having repairs made(before they decided to do other things with the money).  So the repairs goe undone and then it becomes not a matter of want but necessity. Because if you don't; you have now created the difference between a place to stay and a home.

There are ways to make such repairs yourself. Because one may not do this for a living or side job we don't often know of all the tools and supplies that are needed. I don't mean to sound like a hawk and to be homest I didn't know one was necessary in order to plaster a wall. A trowel? Please, with such terminology, I'm beginning to throw in the towel.  With all of the companies out there that make products for home remodeling and repair; people need an easier approach to do such a job. We won't say for dummies because that could imply that the person has removable parts and is not able do such a job as plaster and paint. Which means that they are only capable of staring out of windows. These kits should be called home project kits. The kits come with all the tools you need to plaster a decent sized room, along with directions. With the home project kit you have all you need ie: various hawks, trowels, mixing, ceiling applicator, water spray bottle, cutting apparatus, gloves, goggles, tape with standard floor and window covering to do the job.  These kits can be made for manual and spray application of plaster. The home project kits for plaster can also be created for paint jobs as well for manual or spray application.  When you have the home project kits to assist you, it takes the stress off of one, knowing that they have all the tools that they need and are set to begin the task of repairs on their own.  Another suggestion, is that plaster comes unmixed (it's packaged like a huge bag of uncooked rice used for large families or third world countries), in a bucket, of course more sturdy that the one chicken is sometimes placed in or the newest arrival of plaster being in strips of wire or string mesh of sorts. Here's the thing. There are jobs that require for the need of these plaster strips to be a lot wider than bacon. Hint: they should be sold like a rolls of wallpaper.  In doing so one can cut, cover and apply final plaster to and paint in almost no time at all.  Most of all one can do this project alone without the muscle of carrying and installing wall board or sheet rock and the other necessary tools.

Many of us have jobs with paychecks that require stilts. Because of this, repairs that are much needed are left undone. Stilettos and a hawk will increase your chances of run-in's with the law among other things. If repairs are costly, collateral is simply out of the question! Let's do something to make things right- with the home project kits for plaster and paint.  It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it!
