CIVIL MATTER

Plaintiff

vs.

Defendant

Ms. Moshe: I bought a second hand TV along with other items in a store that sells used and refurbished electronics. It was inside the store that the assistants refused to help me bring these things to my car.

Pieces: Stay tuned, I will return with a decision.

ANALYSIS:

Biased Equity operated as a discount store since items sold were usually used or refurbished.  Ms. Moshe was supposedly shopping for discounted deals on a TV and other accessories. When store workers began to search Ms. Moshe and follow her through the store, it was discovered that customers had managed to leave the store without paying for the items purchased if not watched. Employees of the store would also solicit  "so called" customers to take items from the store without paying and the security camera that the store set up was unable to detect the theft or those that shoplifted. An undercover officer who posed as a store employee was finally able to infiltrate the theft of employees who arranged for goods to be stolen inside of Biased Equity.

Pieces: You were stopped at the door without a receipt. According to the register we have all the tape we need and the items most expensive were not purchased by you Ms. Moshe although you made every attempted to leave the store with them.

Ms. Moshe: Don't just single me out!

Pieces: Don't worry people are starting to dime already.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, that Ms. Moshe be found guilty of theft and conspiracy along with the other employees of Biased Equity who participated in this crime ring as you and the others will all be charged accordingly.
