Support for Health Care and Pension Plans

April 25, 2010

Directive

To institute a healthcare insurance and pension coverage plan to all those currently employed in the healthcare industry who are currently without adequate coverage. Workers in the medical field include: physicians, medical assistants, clinical support, technicians, administrative workers, health care aides, RN's, LPN's and maintenance people. Coverage is intended to be available to groups or individuals provided they are employed in the healthcare field.

Insurance and pension coverage is provided to ensure that workers in this field who have provided care and assistance to others during their lifetime and career will have access to health insurance when needed and be able to receive a pension when eligible for retirement.

Current Conflicts

The powers that be in society have expected healthcare workers to provide care and assistance to the elderly, sick and disabled without the worker being able to afford or have access to health insurance or pension plans for themselves. What is America's message to healthcare workers by subjecting these people to care for others when it does nothing by inclusive plan to provide substantial offer in benefit to these workers who are in the industry?

In order for healthcare and it's employment opportunities to be considered fair and with decent access to preventative and on going care, then those employed in such capacity should be provided insurance including a pension. When a caretaker or healthcare worker becomes ill and needs to see a physician, how is her or she expected or able to perform a job by any acceptable level if that level is compromised by leaving the healthcare worker without insurance or pension of job benefit. American has created a structural inequity among those who are in the industry of health and who are not being compensated adequately. This hampers societies "so called" need for able person(s) in the industry because in universal aspect, society has deliberately neglected such in any benefit that should be provided to the healthcare worker and thus compromises the well being of people by natural means.

This initiative is an attempt to provide healthcare coverage for those who render care to others. It would be of sacrifice in civil perspective and of human neglect if healthcare and pension is not offered and given in consideration to those who work in this area.

Therefore, an insurance plan which includes coverage for hospital, medical, mental, dental, vision ect. and a pension plan should be comprised of and offered to all those in the healthcare industry within the USA. This plan includes all of the states located in the USA  and will entitle those qualified workers to participate in health insurance and pension plans. Individuals and familes of healthcare workers are also eligible. With a large participation of medical care workers being covered this will drastically reduce premiums but still offer the same benefits.

Argument

Those who have healthcare are fortunate. Although the system is riddled with flaws and imperfection. There is however a mystery in the understanding of health insurance and what its provisions mean to each and every person who has health insurance. Many people do not get involved in the aspects surrounding what their healthcare package or booklet contains as it attempts to inform the subscriber regarding their actual plan. Indeed, it only seeks to answer basic questions and does not d...
