IN THE UNITED STATES CIVIL MATTER
Plaintiff
v.
Defendant
FACTS OF THE CASE
Divine Clark is enraged over the attention given to a dress she was wearing. She states that if she were to "fly" dress again that she will insure her body resulting from this incident. Because of all the attention and "trippin" on the runway Divine and the clothes she was wearing were damaged. Ms. Clark is now seeking reimbursement.
Pieces: So you're a clumsy walker. Perhaps some comfy shoes instead of your heels would have prevented your fall. Next time wear footwear you can walk in.
Divine: I was struttin just fine until the trippin began while in the air causin me to fall.
Pieces: What trip caused you to fall, exactly?
Divine: I was just walking pass to say hello to the fellas and soon after all the rukus started.
Pieces: Did you know the gentleman?
Divine: NO!
Pieces: Then why did you speak?
Divine: It was all business, just conversation in a friendly way. Since were were going to be together for a few hours.
Pieces: Wait a minute. You were hanging with strangers and wondered why they tripped you. Obvious, your friendly chit-chat and being alone with them for a few hours has made them have no respect for you. You fell and now well I hope you learned your lesson.
Divine: Lesson, this ain't school!
Pieces: Yup, but life doles these things out.
Divine: I had no other choice, but to be with these men.
Pieces: Were you kidnapped? This is a bit strange you seemed willing in your converstion to me to make friends with these people.
Divine: I had reservations.
Pieces: Anotherwords, you were reserved until you went in to the air, you let loose and got carried away. Now that you didn't like the way things ended up you're upset. Is that it?
Divine: There were others along with me on the ride as well.
Pieces: Oh so now you admit to your tacky display of affection here in my court. Case Dismissed!
Divine: How was that tacky? One of the flight attendants looked at my fly $1,500 dollar dress and tripped over the cost and spilled food and beverage on it ruining the dress and giving me bruises and wounds.
Pieces: How much are you suing for?
Divine: $3,500.
Pieces: Were you seated at the time you were being served, to have this all happen to you?
DTA: You--hoo excuse me Pieces. I'm from DTA which stands for Decendants Transfer Airways. I was sent by the company to explain the situation here. I will not be silent, I demand my say in this here court!
Pieces: And I take it you're wearing company uniform?
DTA: Yes honey, we strive to represent. But don't be talkin pew to me look at you all covered up. For all I know you could be having a sale goin on inside. Im just here to keep this all real.
Pieces: This old thing didn't cover much. I got it from my first job. It's still as yellow as it was when I began to wear it. My second job became much more intersting instead of a sale I kept it in the family and now I just wear a yellow suit underneath. So as a result I talk pew to everybody. Now hop to the facts!
DTA: You a hot about a biscuit!
Pieces: Don't push it tootsie, I see you offering glitter!
DTA: Look at where your gold "mine" got you. Ha!
Pieces: Oh... I must be slow because I used caution when going over speed bumps. Get to the story and that is an order! DTA: Take a breather I meant no harm. Now, this tramp was hardly seated during the whole cumbustion. As a matter of fact she caused it. If the trollip was not running around braggin about her dress to the pilots and cheesin with the passengers, this all would not have occured.
Pieces: Divine why were you out of your seat?
Divine: I was promoting "airline gig" which is a fashion show during the flight. I was paid to wear expensive clothing fashioned after flight apparel. But in a more expensive design. It was to show passengers a glimpse of travel wear sold by DTA. If they were interested I would put customers in contact with sales and design, so that they could have the clothes tailored just for them or whoever the purchase would be for.
DTA: Please, the show was long over but you keep your tired ass going like it was all about you.
Divine: They wanted me to wear the clothes and mingle with the passengers throughout the flight and that's what I did as part of my contract.
