IN THE UNITED STATES CIVIL MATTER
Plaintiff
v.
Defendant
Waymon Sing is distraught over a boxing match up that was arranged unprofessionally. Mr Sing has complained to Pieces in hopes of resolution.
Pieces: I understand you received an uneven one, two punch? Mr. sing: I was caught off guard and it added even more to my emotions. Pieces: Why did you agree to the match up in the first place, once you saw what you were going to be dealing with? Mr. Sing: I was informed by the management team who arranged it said that everything was measured out to be a fair and just event for all. Pieces: That must have really smarted, when you were bullied around in the ring so to speak. Mr. Sing: Well, he was quite aggressive. In telling me that he could show me a thing or two about the business and that I wasn't familiar with the way things worked. Pieces: You seem like a novice to me in that they ruled the show and you ended up losing. Mr. Sing: That's why I'm here. To correct it all! Pieces: Excuse, me correct it all??? The whole thing is over. The way you described it, the vote was unanimous and now you want to do it over. What occured may have been unfair including the fact that you were out of your league. The organizers should have been penalized for the danger they put you in resulting from all of this. Mr. Sing: This is what I was trying to get you to understand. This is a threat to me resulting from my grandparents. Pieces: I'm sure once they saw their grandson upclose get whipped in an unfair situation it was very unpleasant for them to see. Mr. Sing: They are actually watching from above. Pieces: Stadiums are pretty huge. Ringside was probably full with high rollers. Mr. Sing: My grandparents have passed on as they were pretty high up themselves. Gloves Funeral Arrangements had pre-arranged their funeral for us and I was to supervise the entire thing. The funeral home provided two different sized caskets and funerals with noticeable difference. Pieces, I have come to you because I fear my ancestors. If the funeral does not go according to their wishes- I will be spiritually punished. Gloves Funeral Arrangements: It's all here in the will, read it- believe me you won't want to weep. He's got some nerve with all of this. Pieces: I will return with my decision.
ANALYSIS:
Mr. Sing was responsible for his grandparents funeral. They were elderly and died a few days apart from each other. Gloves Funeral Parlor states that the will or desires of it contained a clause that the wife receive a casket and burial of less superiority than her husband. Gloves Funeral Parlor states that it complied with those wishes by providing a casket and funeral "deemed of lesser status" and not cost for Mr. Sing's grandmother. This explained the smaller size in casket as opposed to the regular sized casket one may use and the style difference between the two funerals. The funeral parlor continued to defend itself by saying that it did not violate the will by providing a cheap funeral or cause Mr. Sing any spiritual harm he feels may result because of this.
Pieces: Mr. Sing, you will probably need a pair of mittens for all you're going to go through. Mr. Sing: Gloves Funeral Parlor tied my hands, it was like they want me to suffer. Pieces: You were really arranging your own financial cube. This complaint was how you were trying to lace things up.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, This court has ruled in favor of Gloves Funeral Arrangements.
