Poem 3

Posted by Sheri Harris on Sunday, October 31, 2010,
What a time this was.
How she planned out and disguised someone elses sin.
The abuse was for different reasons each and every time
but the pain was the same, as she sought me to blame...

The orders given were from within.
Not only was she wrong, she was doing it while
her justice didn't belong...

I responded, afterall I had something to say.
As you well know nor did she like me or anything I
defended in saying...

Yes, I found the work very boring and most underpaid.
I was given an ultimatum although ov...

What the Government should do

Posted by Sheri Harris on Sunday, October 24, 2010,
Did anyone ever think that they would have to work until they were 72 or even 75 years of age?  Imagine a world where there is no set age for retirement. With people living a lot longer and fewer jobs available how will all of these people be able to provide for themselves when they get to a certain age?

Poem 2

Posted by Sheri Harris on Sunday, October 17, 2010,
Most people don't feel a thing...
Creepy, that this was not scary to them.
Instead they go back to do it again and again.

Or live in painful reminder.

Numb from the experience, and the inability to do much
without mistake.
Looking at the worl...

Poem 1

Posted by Sheri Harris on Sunday, October 3, 2010, In : Poems
It was for the taking.
In one clean swipe, what was there was suddenly out of sight.
Days, months and even years of planning, were all for nothing
and now this.
There was no way to get it back.

It was for the taking.
In one clean swipe, what was there was suddenly out of sight.
How did the numbers magically disappear?
I thought to myself...
Here one minute and not there the next.

It was for the taking.
In one clean swipe, what was there was suddenly out of sight.
There was no reason why, although every ...
