Plug and Play

Most people should not expect to sound like E, W and F (abbreviations) right out of the box. But music software makers shouldn't expect those who wish to create music to be proficient in IT or information technology. This is somewhat unfair. To do something that should be considered enjoyable, it is as if those who make such software have no passion about their software enough to make it simple to use. Tutorials should be included as part of the sofware use as directions, by doing so the user installs the software and then proceeds to make music based on the tutorial set of instructions as opposed to being stumped and then having to locate a tutorial to help them.
If lots of music software creators know that your brand or sound is far from professional or you desire to use the politically correct term of "beat-up" alternative, then it should be understood that software must be easy to install and use. Most music lovers did not study at the music conservatory or drop a minor in it while in college. So what is it about the uninterested creator who has consumers who pay for the use of the software just to have them find and extract the user administrator program needed to install the necessary software? How in the world can you consider this plug and play right out of the box when you have to search for software and e-mail the company just to install everything properly?
The music software company does not have to program the software to talk one through the instalation process or take control of the program and configure it once the cd or dvd is inserted. But, a program needs to be simple by having the necessary drivers and any virtual recording track for mixing and sound effects for those of us that do not use midi and are connected by a "keyboard controller" via usb. The software program must be simple enough to use in order to access and actually hear, record and playback those sounds. Music software creators should be able to produce software without too much difficulty that blends regular audio music instruments or beats along with midi sounds from instruments or beats so that they can be used together to make music. The latest software involes a lot of complexity. VST plug-in's are another obstacle. They may sometimes have to be created afterwards of software purchase. Hence the five subject notebook , you create a folder for each instrument type and begin to place those instrument sounds into the corresponding folder. This is so that when you go to a folder you have each type of instrument or sound pertaining to it inside its own folder and then to choose a sound ir instrument you just select the folder you want based on the sound or instrument. So instead of creating music out of the box one now has to spend time in gathering the instruments and sounds together which should already be done. One is not buying a program to create their own music software program as this stuff should be already created upon purchase.

You can create music with or without a keyboard controller. All you do is insert the usb music maker software and optionally you can connect your keyboard via usb.
