Where's the heat?

December 14, 2009
Is your winter off to a long and cold start? Can you actually afford to keep the heat on in your home all night long? Are your windows cold enough to keep perishable goods next to them so you can unplug your freezer and use it for storing other things? Now that you no longer have to worry about food that spoils, what about you? If you wear as many clothes indoors as you do out, then you home is definately in need of insulation. The question is affordability, which may explain why it was never done. Even for those in apartments and older buildings that do not provide decent heat which is costly and would obviously be a lot to insulate. After all is said and done your rent would be sure to increase afterwards of insulation.

IDEA:

Window Shade- Insulators

These shades are made of poly-encapsulated thermal and acoustical fiberglass insulation. They are made to replace regular shades during the winter months. First, you remove your regular shades from your windows. Second, you install the Window Shade- Insulators the same way you install regular shades for your windows. Because they install the same way, no handy work is necessary. Once the Window Shade-Insulator is installed the shade flap can be draped up for half window access and covering during the day to allow sunlight to enter your home and then be released from the shade attachment to cover the full length of the window at night. The velcro adhesives surrounding the Window Shade-Insulator will enable you to seal off your windows ensuring complete insulation from the cold. Once windows are covered you will begin to notice a room temperature warmth and your home will not require as much heat from the boiler or by electrical means. This will save you lots of money during the winter months. Window Shade-Insulators are a Do It Yourself purchase and are ideal for those on a fixed or limited budget.

Insurance companies don't reimburse as much as they did before. The Prostate Dilemma

November 9, 2009
What if there were a more comfortable way to examine the prostate. The first approach in prostate examination is to have your physician do a rectal exam by hand and if difficulty occurs then a pelvic ultrasound is performed to measure the size of the prostate followed by (if necessary) a digital prostate exam. This is when a manual or automated probe is inserted into the rectum to obtain images of the prostate regarding possible abnormality. This can be uncomfortable and very tedious as a bio...

Chance of Snow

October 19, 2009
Snow and the removal of can be a tedious task. This is only endured by those with youth, energy and strength. Snow shovels do a mediocre job of cleaning the snow away and snow blowers are very expensive and may not be worth the cost for many if not used very often. Along with a high price tag or if youth and energy has passed you by although you are still responsible for cleaning your property; does one wait for strangers needy for extra bucks to offer to rid of the snow-which has now caused ...
