Wouldn't it be nice to be able to send a text with a regular home telephone. This is a feature that should not be just for the disabled? One may ask what is the necessity? Clarity is one. There are times when you are in a conversation and your carrier's signal is not that clear and you may have to repeat your message or place another call in order to get through. This becomes annoying especially if you have a lot to say or are giving important messages. Most phones are not connected to the internet, which would require your computer to be on just to make a simple phone call. Cell phones are great for texting but your monthly bills are not so great at the end.
With qwerty keypad/display telephones you can either talk or text a message that the person on the other end will recieve as long as they have a qwerty keypad/display telephone or a cellphone. All you would have to do is pick up the phone and dial the number of the person you want to contact, then press text or the symbol for text and begin typing your message 1000 characters maximum. After you are done you press save and send. Your message will be sent and your phone display will inform you if your message went through or not. You can continue by responding in text as the phone either vibrates or rings letting you know that you have a message or call, by pressing respond(this recalls the number who sent you the text or call) and then press text, then type your message and press save and send.
This phone is the perfect solution for times when you need to communicate quietly and without a lot of noise. It will allow you to check any text messages sent so you can respond to them.
