Wouldn't it be great if we could trust everybody?  Especially, those we sit next to.  People may say, hey, you can't get robbed on an airplane- where is the thief gonna go? Besides, who's ever heard of a person caro detainment area for bad passengers?  Since money is just fancy colored paper a thief could find just the place to put it, without too many people wanting to argue about where to search for it, even with gloves on. The weather has changed to the point that we are experiencing more and more blackouts. This is due to heavy rains and snow storms that happen and power companies not being prepared for them. It would be a very tedious job to place durable nets to surround cables and wires hanging over telephone poles ect., so that in the event of a huge storm rain or snow the net will support the cables thus preventing them from snapping once too much rain or snow occurs.  There still is the issue of the tree...

It was popular with those who took long trips, truckers or radio enthusiasts who enjoyed talking with people without using the telephone.
